People can feel the difference when you're talking to them and trying to sell them. They don't like it. Neither do you! You don't like to be sold, and you don't like the feeling you get when you're trying to sell something. It doesn't sit right deep down inside. So stop it!

Build relationships, and success will follow. That is key! So the next time you are writing an ad for your business or telling somebody about you million-dollar idea. Treat it like a casual conversation, and watch the dollars role in.

Mistake #2

Not checking the background of your company leadership to make sure that they have MLM experience, with integrity, is another mistake.

Why does this matter, you ask? Well, do you want to build this once, build it big, and build it for your children's children?

Do you want to make $10,000 every month? Okay, then how many people in your organization does it take, on the back end, to make your goal? How doable is that?

Are you having trouble just keeping 10, 20, or 30?

In most comp plans to make $10,000 a month, you need anywhere from 1,600 to 5,000 people, depending on how your plan is set up.

How doable is that when you can't even keep 30? I know of a comp plan out there that requires less than 400 people to make $10,000 monthly.

How much easier do you think it is to keep people in that plan? Pretty easy, I'd say. So make sure you know the numbers, and then crunch them to see how doable it is for you.

Mistake #4

Another big mistake that many MLM distributors make is going after their friends and families.
Unfortunately, a large majority of companies out there employ this "technique" as their primary source of lead generation. Ouch!

Let me just tell you from personal experience that your "warm market" is the coldest out there!
If you're in a company where this is the primary source of lead generation, you are in for a hard time, my friend!

This technique does not work. The best leads are the ones you generate yourself, and if your company, team, or up line doesn't have a system in place to do that, it's going to be very tough.

These are just a few of the mistakes many people make in a MLM business, but with some basic skills and a good system in place, these mistakes are avoidable.

Hi guys, how is everyone today?

Today I am here to tell every one that I am really excited. As you guys know, I started this blog in April, but I did not make a single entry until 10 days ago. I guess the reason was, I really wasn’t motivated back then, and we all know that has changed now. You see, writing this blog is extremely hard for me, because I am dyslexic. I am not making any excuses for my poor grammar, but I try my best to read it, and re read it. So please forgive me if some times I misspell something, or I put a comma where I shouldn’t. Anyway, I have wanted to make money all my life, but it was only until recently I took action. I knew the internet was the way to go, because it is something that interests me, and you can reach so many people right in you living room. Another good reason is because it is something that is easy to get into and you don’t need a lot of money to start. However I did not really tap into anything, until I met the wonderful world of Success University. As you all know I have only been a member for a few days, and already I have gotten results. When I first joined Success University, the first thing I did was learn a form of marketing that was completely foreign to me before; Article marketing. As you may, or may not, already know, article marketing is basically a form of marketing where you write articles, on specific topics, and submit it to article websites; in hope that somebody reads it, and clicks on your signature. Seems simple enough right? My first Article was written only a few days ago, and I have submitted it to various websites across the net. Yesterday I looked at my results and I was shocked to see that I got 45 hits on just one website. In the other websites I have had similar results as well. WOW.

I am glad that I took the time to research the lead money making companies on the net, and now I know why Success University is number one(if you don’t believe me please check). With the help I have received from them, plus a little action, I have made some good progress (and this will continue). You see, Success University may not be for every one, but as you all know I have a goal in mind, and I am now a firm believer that I will achieve that goal, with this company. I will say it again, I am not by all means saying that it is for every one, but I hope with this blog I inspire every one that reads this to take action with their financial dreams, with or with out Success University. When? Is a question that allows you to succeed within a time limit? Don’t let any one tell you, you have to set a realistic answer to this question. Frankly that is bullshit. You can do anything, whenever you want, if you find the answers to these three questions. Remember these are YOUR questions, and YOU determine the time. You see, a lot of people believe that this question is irrelevant, however it as important as the last two, and may be even more important. This is true because our brains work under pressure, a lot better than with out it. It also gives you an extra boost when you need it. I hope I can encourage you to set a date on your goals so you can accomplish your dreams at you own pace and no one else’s.

How?

How? Is a relative question? It is flexible, and that is the beauty of it. “Have you ever heard the phrase, there is more than one way to skin a cat?” It is a great quote, because it exercises our will of choice. However there are many pit falls in this question, because this is when we may be discouraged the most. When our brains are asked this question, it becomes very analytical, and may tell you the reasons not to do it. However this question if asked repeatedly, can actually get you to your financial success. How?, is actually my favorite question because it is an action question. It teaches you to take action, and different ways of implementation. Do not give up asking this question, you have to trust that your brain will eventually find the answer to this question. If you fail immediately, pick your self up, and go at it with a different approach. You see when, how? Is powered with why? There is very little on this earth that can stop you from getting to your financial dreams. But remember be flexible. Edison tried 1000 times before he created the light bulb and when some one asked him how he managed to cope with so much failure he replied, I did not fail 1000 times, I merely found a 1000 ways HOW not to make a light bulb.

Hey guys, how is every one today?

I would like to apologize for not updating this blog in two days. The reason I have not posted is because, I feel, I really need to wright this next post as a trilogy, and I want to write it all at once, so I won’t lose my train of thought.

Today I would like to talk about the “Why, How and When” of wealth. I believe that these are the most powerful questions in the world. You see when we are thinking; all we are really doing is, just asking our self questions. We make ask ourselves things like “how do I get to this place” or “where did I leave those dumb keys.” Or maybe even, “How did Britney Spears get so fat?” The process of thought, if you really think about it, is just a serious of questions. At this point you might be saying, ok Andrew, that does not sound like it is significant. However if every one knows that our brains our powerful things (which everyone does), you may come to the conclusion that the questions we ask our selves, is the POWER of thought, and if you can control that, then you can use your brain to great things. So what I am trying to basically say is, if we know the answers to these three questions, it will help achieve our goal.

Why?

Why? is a very useful question, because It allows ourselves to find the reason for our goals in the first place. You see, asking ourselves why we want to be rich? Is a lot harder than you my think. A lot of people say they want to become rich, so they can bye stuff, and although that is fine, they may not be seeing the point of buying things in the first place. Doesn’t the process of buying things, really come down to, the belief that these things will make us happy? This is not a right or wrong answer; it is merely stating that we believe that being rich will make us happy. Happiness comes in many forms, for example, security, power, adventure and many others. You see with money, it helps us to attain all these things, and at very least, it pushes us in the right direction. That is why money is so alluring. I am not trying to say that people think it will solve their problems, in contrast I can convince people the opposite. What I am trying to say is, that what ever your needs are, money will be a great asset to have, in helping you achieve all your dreams and hopes. We as people have to find out what those dreams really are, by asking our selves WHY? Once we have the question of, “why do I want to be rich?” figured out, we may see what we are willing to give up, or not to give up. Or what we are willing to compromise and what we are not willing to compromise, to achieve our financial dreams. With this question sorted out, it will give you the fuel and direction for you to succeed. That is why this question is so important.

New look on an old idea

I have a younger brother, and yesterday I was talking with him about business. I had told him about what I wanted to accomplish, and how I had a million ideas to get to that goal.

His reply was one of the most intelligent responses I have ever heard. He believed that to make money; we have to stick with one idea, and take many different approaches to it, rather than have many different ideas and only take one approach to it.

I was blown back by the significance of this. Remember that old saying, if you don’t succeed, try, try again. Well like many people, I had misinterpreted a huge portion of that quote. Like many other people I was programmed in the wrong way. Every body knows that failure is a learning process, but we as people naturally believe if we fail, and go on to another thing, we are on the right path. You see focusing on many things at one time, causes our brain to separate our mental energy on many different things; this causes the energy to be diluted. I believe focusing on one thing will allow our energy to concentrate it self, allowing your brain to come up with many different ideas on how to succeed. Then once it is accomplished, we can go on to another idea and focus on that. As soon as I finished talking with him, I went to my list of ideas. I circled the one that I wanted to accomplish the most. Then I listed a path. When I was finished with one, I would move on to the next, and so on, and so on.

If you have goals, that is only the first step.If you concentrate on one at a time you may find that you will accomplish them much faster and more effectively.

Hey guys, what’s up?

Yesterday was pretty interesting. I went to the success university seminar that they have once a week and was blown away. We learned about outsourcing, which is the best discovery I have ever had, since women. The guys at Success University were basically telling us, that everything on the internet is out sourced. You may think other wise, but I assure you, that the most successful people on the internet don’t do a quarter of the work you think they do. You see, when I went in there, I had always believed that people that start a website, actually created their own website and did everything that revolved around it; the marketing, the writing, the graphics, so on and so on. Well I couldn’t be further away from being right, and then if I were a brick, trying to be Jupiter. Anyway it was a real eye opener, and from now on, I am going to out source everything, Website development, graphics, and everything under the sun. Oh yeah I forgot the most important thing, IT IS CHEAP AS HELL! Yeah if you don’t believe me please check out www.elance.com. Post a project, like article writing, and say you want a, one page professional article, and post that you want it done for 10 dollars. Just see how many people are willing to do it for you. I just wish I knew about this in collage, because I would actually have that Harvard Diploma I tell every one about. Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, that yesterday I got this great idea, about how I maybe able to make money, from the new game consoles that are coming out. You know the Play station 3, Xbox360 and the Nintendo wii? Ill tell you what, if it gets up and running, I guarantee I will tell all you guys about it. It would be wonderful to get payed lots of money to play video games. It would be my dream, and my mother’s worst nightmare. Three Blind Mice

Hey just before I start ranting, I would like to take a moment to thank Toko for posting a comment, and I have subscribed to his newsletter.

Hi guys I hope every one is well. I got some great news to share, and very soon I am going to be posting some pictures of my journey. I sent my blog to my friend and he asked me what the significance of 167 dollars was. Well guys 167.89 dollars, was all I had in my bank account when I started this journey, and decided to change my life. It has now become my lucky number, and one day I am going to get those numbers carved in gold in front of my mansion.

Well let’s get down to business. Yesterday I made a huge discovery which I hope all of you can benefit from.

Let me tell you a story.

You see I work in a huge building that has about 60 floors and I work on the 13th. On the eighth floor is this day care center, and because I am usually in a daze so early in the morning, I accidentally got off on the wrong floor. I walked right into this daycare center and only realized I was in the wrong place, when I was surrounded by children. Needless to say I was a little embarrassed, and to add insult to injury, the care taker (I think that’s what you call her) was really cute. We both laughed when I said that I was confused, because this place looked really similar to where I worked, and even smelt kind of the same. As I walked back to the elevator I heard the kids sing the three blind mice song. It got really stuck in my head, and then I started to sing it by the time I walked into the office. As you can guess, this caused some stares, and I quickly tried to change my tune to that Buttons song by the pussy cat dolls.

Anyway after about thirty minutes my phone rang and it was my Mom. After the initial salutations, we quickly got into our routine conversation about money. Scratch that the lack of money. My mom was going on and on, about how she had no money, and how the world was against her. With the exact same breath, she tried to give me financial advice (which she often does). How I should spend my money, and how to save it. At this point I started to drift off, while she yapped away I started to think about the three blind mice song. If you guys don't know the song it is basically a song about three blind mice that lead each other into a bad situation, because they are BLIND. All of a sudden it dawned on me what the moral of that story meant. Why do the blind lead the blind? Shouldn’t the people that can see, lead the blind?

You see I have listened to my mom about financial advice all my life. The same mother that has no money! That has got to be the stupidest thing in the world to do. I wouldn't listen to a fat guy about weight loss advice, so why should I listen to a poor person about financial advice, just because they are family?

At that point I made a decision. I am not going to listen to business advice or financial advice from people that are poor, just because they are my friends, mother, father, brother cousin in law. I am going to actively such for a person who is rich to listen to, and I highly encourage you to do the same. You see the only way for all us poor people to get an advantage, is to get good advice, and we now have to choose where we are getting that advice from, because a lot of that advice is coming from our family. But if you look at them financially, they may be in no position to give you advice about that aspect of your life. I am dedicated to finding the right advice and I hope I have encouraged you to do all the same.

Hey whats up guys

I am so excited to tell you guys what I have found. I looked at tons of sites and took more then a couple of hours. But I have found some thing I want to do. It is called Success University. Or www.successuniversity.com. It is a business that has some members in Singapore and I am going to meet with them tomorrow, and find out more. What I basically figured out is that it is an Internet business, that is also a MLM business. What it takes to win

I think I have an idea what it takes to win. By winning I mean get those millions of dollars. All I have to do is to come up with some great idea on the internet and try to ride it out. Just like the Google guys, ha ha. But first I have to understand the internet and how it makes money. So I am going to surf the internet for a couple of hours and check out all these "You can make a million dollars by sitting on you ass" in 5 days websites. I think most of these courses are courses on how to make money on the internet. I am not going to join any of them, until I find the right course for me. I am just going to see what is out there and see if any of them can teach me how the internet can generate income. I am a firm believer that the internet is our new platform for making a ridiculous amount of money, with very little start up cost. Just like the infomercial business was in the 80’s. Well For right now that is. Because everybody knows if you can make money doing something, you better believe there are a hundred thousand guys trying to do it already, and then the market gets saturated. But I believe even thought there are millions of websites out there, the internet is still a baby. So I better act fast and I will let you guys know what I find. See ya and have a great day

My First Post

This is my very first post and I am excited. May be I can tell you guys a little bit about my self. My name is Andrew Carver and I am from the US and I live in Singapore. I was determined to create this blog because like all of you guys, I am a dreamer. I want to be rich, no scratch that I want to be wealthy, no scratch that I want to be the wealthiest man alive ha-ha. I want a 100inch plasma TV with an x box 360 a play station 3 with all the games, a multi million dollar apartment, along with an Ferrari and a Bang and Olufsen outfitted room along with three pcs and 3 Macs.

I know what you guys are thinking, "what a spoilt brat". Some may say that, but I am from a middle-income family that barley scrapes by each month. Dreaming is my way of venting to let it all out. A couple of months ago I came to a cross road in my life I could continue to dream (because every one that knows me knows I am a big dreamer but I haven’t taken any action to get the things that I want) or I can do something about it. Today I am happy to say I am taking the road of, doing some thing about it. You see over the past couple of months I have been studying like a Asian girl trying to get into Harvard. I have been reading books on self-improvement, business, economics and others. Anything that I thought might help. Why? You may ask. Well its because I believe I need a map to see the direction I am headed, so I don’t get lost. So now I am going to take MASSIVE action. To start I have armed myself with three things that I believe will help me succeed, goals, mentors and a burning desire to help me get there. I know it sounds cheesier then a French wine convention, but you never know. It might work NO scratch that it will work. Any way I just want to let the rest of the world know what I am doing, so they can share in the excitement with me, and you may never know, I may inspire you to do something like this.
